Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to reveal the cover to Guy’s Odyssey. This beautiful piece of art is the work of the amazingly talented Steven Novak. To celebrate the unveiling of the cover I am going to hold a contest later today. Stay tuned for your chance to win an autographed 11×17 poster of Guy’s Odyssey.

What Seth is Reading

I finally finished Starcraft Ghost: Nova. I really enjoyed it. It’s a book that tells the back story of a video game character for a game that never actually came out… still cool though.

I started reading Animal Farm by George Orwell last night. I’m already almost done with ans thoroughly enjoying it. I’m sure I’ll be updating this again soon since it is a short read.

Calling All Super Fans!

I am looking for a group of super fans that are passionate about spreading the word about Guy’s Odyssey. You will be my shock troopers. My spearhead troopers… oh wait, that is from the airborne creed. I don’t jump out of planes anymore. Let’s see… You are going to be my ambassadors, my street team, my super fans!
How are we going to accomplish this? The simple answer is, with teamwork. If there is one thing I learned in the Army it’s to work together and count on to your teammates.
So, what’s in it for you? As a super fan, you will have exclusive access to all of the latest and greatest news before everyone else. Best of all, you will get a free digital copy of Guy’s Odyssey, weeks in advance of the release date.
What I’ll need from you is simple. Read Guy’s Odyssey and provide an HONEST review before the release date. I will ensure that you have plenty of time to accomplish this. Then post your review at Amazon, Goodreads, and Kindle (maybe some other places too). After that, tell the world! Talk about it with your family and friends. Put it up on your social media. Tell your co-workers. Get the word out there!
On top of the free advance digital copy I will be offering a signed and/or inscribed paperback copy to any members of my street team for 50% off the cover price (plus shipping).

Introducing Guy’s Odyssey

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce my novel, Guy’s Odyssey.

It’s just another day in Iraq for Guy, a young American soldier. But when he suffers a head wound in a car bomb attack in Baghdad his real journey begins.

As the blast sends him on a deadly odyssey through the very fabric of time, he finds the beautiful yet mysterious disappearing sand. But Guy quickly realizes things aren’t what they seem and he may be witnessing his own destruction. With the reality warp tearing him apart, he has only his fading mind and a mysterious journal to help him solve the puzzle before time runs out.

His desperate search for an answer leads him to a single moment where everything hangs in the balance. Does this mysterious journal hold the clues to his salvation, or is it the ramblings of a madman? Can he figure out the mystery and save himself, or is the end of his odyssey written before his journey even begins?

What is Seth reading?

I decided last night that I would start sharing what I’m currently reading. Maybe I’ll even start doing some book reviews! Do you guys want me to start offering book reviews? Leave a comment below and let me know.

So, right now, I am reading a few different books. First is Starcraft Ghost: Nova. As a kid I loved Starcraft the video game. So much so that when I stumbled upon the first three Starcraft novels at a Goodwill (I do a lot of my book shopping there) for 99 cents you better believe I bought them. So far the series has turned out good. So good that I bought the rest of the series.

I’m also reading Closing Time by Joseph Heller. I’ll admit I’ve been reading this very slowly and I don’t really know why. It is the sequel to Catch 22, one of my favorite books of all time. It’s a great book. I just haven’t been reading it much.

Lastly, I just picked up a copy of the Marvel Encyclopedia. It’s got every Marvel character ever and is full of awesome little facts and amazing artwork. It’s funny, when I was a kid reading comic books I never in a million years would have thought that Marvel would be mainstream pop culture. And man is it awesome!

Let me know what you all are reading in the comments or feel free to ask any questions or share your thoughts.

Exciting news to come soon!

Hey everyone! So after about a 7 year hiatus from social media I find myself slowly relearning everything.

I have big news to announce soon via Facebook, just as soon as they unlock my account. Apparently I have to prove that I am, in fact, me. Which my sources assure me that I am.

Once they unlock me I will be able to officially share my exciting news because, as we all know, if it’s not on Facebook, it isn’t real. Although, my blog is supposed to be linked to Facebook, so maybe I’ll be able to share my news sooner than later. Time will tell!
